Week 31: Just A Baby Bit Of Advice

I have a bit of advice: LIVE IT UP!
Junior year goes by so fast! Seriously it does. So get involved in everything you can, don't let little things get to you, and really just enjoy youself.

Also FORGET STUDY ISLAND! 15 hours of your life for just one exemption. In my opinion, you could just study for a half hour before finals and do wonderfully on them. The trade (15 hours for 30 minutes) doesn't seem worth it.

If you need to do your homework, do it. DON'T WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE! When you wait till last minute to do work, what you get is crappy work. The teachers can tell. Just do it. If you don't trust yourself to get a move on, find yourself a motivation buddy that isn't afraid to yell at you if you need it.

USE YOUR FRIENDS! Now this may sound bad. You may say, "I never want to use people, that's so rude!" But let me explain. The "use your friends" motto goes both ways. Be a friend that some one can use. And by use, I mean be there when people are in need, help them. So your buddy calls you crying, don't act like your losing service, hang up on them, and go on with your day. The right thing to do is pack up yourself and race over to them! Be a friend. And use your friends. That's what they're there for.

  1. I agree w/ you on everything BUT study island....if you do a little bit at a time, it's not that bad. I feel like they're giving us an opportunity, so why not use it?

  2. I disagree very strongly about the Study Island, because with an exemption you will at least know that you do not have to worry about passing your final exams.
